How long will it take for my account to be activated once the payment is made?

Once the payment is made, your account will be activated right away.

How can I reset my password?

For the users registered with their mobile number, follow the following steps for resetting your password: 1. You need to enter your mobile number on the log-in page. 2. Click "Forget Password", to get an OTP on your registered number. 3. Using the OTP received on your number, you can now reset your password.

How can I change the language of the article and quizzes?

We have a "Change Language" option in Test Series and Daily Quizzes. If you want the content (test and quiz) in Hindi/English language, go to Settings -> Change Language, to change your default language from Hindi to English or Vice-Versa.

I am unable to make payment for the pass.

In case of failure of a transaction before the amount deduction, we advise the student to try making the payment again. In case of transaction failure after amount deduction either access to the purchased product will be provided within few hours or we request the student to wait for 3 to 4 working days. The money will be credited back to his/her account.

I have made the payment but the tests are not unlocked.

Although rare, if so: You can directly mail us at [email protected] and we will resolve your issue.

What are all the payment methods allowed to buy a plan?

You can pay using: Credit Card/ Debit Card or Through: UPI and Netbanking.

What happens if I get disconnected during a test?

Don't worry! We auto-pause your test so, you can resume the test where you left. The test can also be manually paused by clicking on the "Pause" icon on the top left corner inside the timer circle. Please note: This function is not available in a Live Test.

India has been elected to the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO’s 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage for the 2022-2026 cycle.

India has been elected for four years.

  • Breaking this news, the Union Culture and Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy, in a tweet on 7 July 2022, said, “As the nation celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, India will be a part of two prominent Committees of UNESCO — Intangible Cultural Heritage (2022-2026) and World Heritage (2021-2025).
  • The elections for the Intergovernmental Committee took place during the 9th General Assembly of the 2003 Convention held at UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) headquarters, Paris, from 5th to 7th July 2022. 
  • Against the four seats falling vacant within the Asia-Pacific group, six countries, namely, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand had presented their candidature. India received 110 votes from the 155 State Parties that were present and voting.
  • India has served as a member of the Intergovernmental Committee twice — from 2006 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2018.

Intergovernmental Committee of the 2003 Convention 

The Intergovernmental Committee of the 2003 Convention comprises 24 members and is elected in the General Assembly of the Convention according to the principles of equitable geographical representation and rotation. 

States Members to the Committee are elected for a term of four years.

Function of the Committee 

  • Some of the core functions of the Intergovernmental Committee include promoting the objectives of the Convention,
  • providing guidance on best practices,
  •  making recommendations on measures for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage,
  •  It examines requests submitted by States Parties for the inscription of intangible heritage on the Lists as well as proposals for programmes and projects.

What is Intangible Heritage 

 According to UNESCO, Intangible heritage  includes traditions or living expressions inherited from our ancestors and passed on to our descendants, such as oral traditions, performing arts, social practices, rituals, festive events, knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe or the knowledge and skills to produce traditional crafts.

India has 14 cultural heritage in the UNESCOs intangible cultural heritage list. The last to be included in the intangible cultural heritage list was “Durga Puja in Kolkata” in 2021.
