How can I change the language of the article and quizzes?

We have a "Change Language" option in Test Series and Daily Quizzes. If you want the content (test and quiz) in Hindi/English language, go to Settings -> Change Language, to change your default language from Hindi to English or Vice-Versa.

I am unable to make payment for the pass.

In case of failure of a transaction before the amount deduction, we advise the student to try making the payment again. In case of transaction failure after amount deduction either access to the purchased product will be provided within few hours or we request the student to wait for 3 to 4 working days. The money will be credited back to his/her account.

I have made the payment but the tests are not unlocked.

What happens if I get disconnected during a test?

Don't worry! We auto-pause your test so, you can resume the test where you left. The test can also be manually paused by clicking on the "Pause" icon on the top left corner inside the timer circle. Please note: This function is not available in a Live Test.

Parameswaran Iyer takes over as new CEO of NITI Aayog

Parameswaran Iyer, who spearheaded the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission, took over as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog on 11 July 2022.

  • Parameswaran Iyer has worked with both the public and private sectors. He is a 1981 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Parameswaran Iyer was Secretary in the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation during 2016-20.

  • "With over 25 years of experience in the water and sanitation sector, Parameswaran Iyer has led the implementation of India's $20 billion Swachh Bharat Mission, which has provided 550 million people access to safe sanitation," the statement said.

Parameswaran Iyer:

  • Parameswaran, a 1981-batch IAS of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has had a career not like that of ordinary government officers.

  • In the year 2009, Parameswaran Iyer had said goodbye to this government system after a career of 17 years.

  • In the year 2016, he was again inducted as Secretary in the Ministry of Jal Shakti. He once again resigned from his post in the year 2020 after the goal of Swachh Bharat Mission was completed. Now he is again associated with the government machinery as the CEO of NITI Aayog.

  • In the year 2020, 63-year-old Parameswaran Iyer moved to the US to work with the World Bank.

  • Prior to this, from 1998 to 2006, he worked as a drinking water specialist in the United Nations.

  • The work he did in the field of education during the tenure of Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh is remembered even today.

NITI Aayog:

  • The Planning Commission was replaced by a new institution NITI Aayog on January 1, 2015, emphasizing a 'bottom-up' approach to the concept of Maximum Governance, Minimum Government, echoing the spirit of 'cooperative federalism'.

Composition of NITI Aayog:

  • Chairman: Prime Minister

  • Vice President: Appointed by the Prime Minister

  • Governing Council: Chief Ministers of all States and Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories.

  • Regional Council: The Prime Minister or a person nominated by him presides over the meeting of Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors to address specific regional issues.

  • Ex-officio Membership: A maximum of four members of the Union Council of Ministers nominated by the Prime Minister.

  • Ad-hoc Membership: 2 ex-officio members on rotation from leading research institutes.

  • Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Secretary to the Government of India who is appointed by the Prime Minister for a fixed term.

  • Special Invitees: Experts from various fields nominated by the Prime Minister.
