The following details of the selection process must be kept in mind while appearing for SBI PO:

• Biometric Verification:            

The digital thumb impression has been taken of the candidates to ensure the authenticity and an error-free selection procedure for SBI PO recruitment. It maintains the genuineness of the candidates. • Number of Attempts:              

Candidates are restricted to the number of attempts.  The maximum number of chances to attempt the examination is fixed for each category. This is important to note that the candidates may appear in Preliminary exams several times but the number of attempts will be counted for mains examination and they shall be restricted to appear if they exceed the number of attempts below specified.

• Age Limit (As on 01.04.2021): 

• The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years as on 01.04.2021 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1991 and 01.04.2000 (both dates inclusive).

• The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. 
• Students pursuing graduation final Year / Semester may also apply provisionally for the post of SBI PO but they are subjected to the condition that, if called for interview, they have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination as on or before 01.07.2021. 
• Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2021. 
• Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.

Phase-1: SBI PO Preliminary Examination
