The following details of the selection process must be kept in mind while appearing for SBI PO:
• Biometric Verification:
The digital thumb impression has been taken of the candidates to ensure the authenticity and an error-free selection procedure for SBI PO recruitment. It maintains the genuineness of the candidates. Any inconsistency or variations in the biometric verification will lead to rejection of the candidature and punitive legal actions. Candidates are thus advised not to apply any kind of external mark of ink, mehandi, chemical etc. on their hands before the biometric verification.
• Number of Attempts:
Candidates are restricted to the number of attempts. The maximum number of chances to attempt the examination is fixed for each category. Candidates who have taken up all the chances are not eligible to apply further. This is important to note that the candidates may appear in Preliminary exams several times but the number of attempts will be counted for mains examination and they shall be restricted to appear if they exceed the number of attempts below specified.

SBI PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Following eligibility criteria must be met before applying for the SBI PO 2021 Exam:-
• Age Limit (As on 01.04.2021):
- The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years as on 01.04.2021 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1991 and 01.04.2000 (both dates inclusive).
• Educational Qualification (as on 31.12.2021)
- The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Students pursuing graduation final Year / Semester may also apply provisionally for the post of SBI PO but they are subjected to the condition that, if called for interview, they have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination as on or before 01.07.2021.
- Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2021.
- Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.
SBI PO EXAM PATTERN
The SBI PO selection process consists of 3 stages. The written examinations are conducted online, followed by an interview round. The structure of exams is as follows:
Phase-1: SBI PO Preliminary Examination
This is an online examination where the candidates must solve the question paper in one 1 hour for 100 marks. The test consists of 3 sections. Candidates must know that the sectional cut-off in the Preliminary Exam has been removed and the overall score of all the sections will be considered for selection to the next round. The bank decides the overall cut-off or minimum passing marks each year depending on the difficulty level of the exam. The section-wise division of the marks is given below:

SBI PO ADMIT CARD
SBI does not send the admit card via post. So, candidates are advise to download the SBI PO 2021 admit card from the official website of the bank. Candidates are further required to take a print out of their admit cards and the same should be carried out to the examination centre. To login on to the official website, the candidates will require following details:-

SBI PO 2021 SALARY
As per the notification, the initial package for Probationary Officer (PO) starts with Rs 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
The official will also be getting some additional benefits i.e. D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The total compensation per annum on CTC basis will be approx min.Rs.8.20 lacs and max. 13.08 lacs depending on the posting coordinate.
