How long will it take for my account to be activated once the payment is made?

How can I reset my password?

For the users registered with their mobile number, follow the following steps for resetting your password: 1. You need to enter your mobile number on the log-in page. 2. Click "Forget Password", to get an OTP on your registered number. 3. Using the OTP received on your number, you can now reset your password.

How can I change the language of the article and quizzes?

We have a "Change Language" option in Test Series and Daily Quizzes. If you want the content (test and quiz) in Hindi/English language, go to Settings -> Change Language, to change your default language from Hindi to English or Vice-Versa.

I am unable to make payment for the pass.

In case of failure of a transaction before the amount deduction, we advise the student to try making the payment again. In case of transaction failure after amount deduction either access to the purchased product will be provided within few hours or we request the student to wait for 3 to 4 working days. The money will be credited back to his/her account.

I have made the payment but the tests are not unlocked.

Although rare, if so: You can directly mail us at [email protected] and we will resolve your issue.

What are all the payment methods allowed to buy a plan?

You can pay using: Credit Card/ Debit Card or Through: UPI and Netbanking.

What happens if I get disconnected during a test?

Don't worry! We auto-pause your test so, you can resume the test where you left. The test can also be manually paused by clicking on the "Pause" icon on the top left corner inside the timer circle. Please note: This function is not available in a Live Test.

INDIAN AIRFORCE AFCAT OVERVIEW

Students you would be feeling happy to know that AFCAT 1 2022 Notification has been released on the official website on 01 December 2021 for the recruitment of 317 Vacancies for both technical and non-technical posts. Students who want to appear in this examination can check all the details like the Eligibility criteria, Number of vacancies, the process of selection, etc.

INDIAN AIRFORCE AFCAT HOW TO APPLY

  1. Click “CANDIDATE LOGIN’’ on the Home page- leads to AFCAT Sign-in.  

  2.  In the next page, applicants can click “NOT YET REGISTERED? REGISTER  HERE”

  3.  Sign Up: Creation of Login ID and applicant will receive a password in his/her  registered email id. 

  4.  After successful registration, sign-in with registered email id and system  generated password. 

  5.  Reset Password- Log-Out (candidates must remember their login ID and  password for future use during the examination process). 

  6.  Fresh Log-in. 

  7.  Selection of Entry: “AFCAT”; “NCC SPECIAL ENTRY FOR FLYING  BRANCH”. 

  8.  Click “INSTRUCTIONS”. Read Instructions carefully. 

  9. Acknowledgement of having read and understood instructions-Checkbox to  proceed to the next stage. 

  10.  Click “APPLICATION FORM FILLING”

INDIAN AIRFORCE AFCAT ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Eligibility Conditions. 

  1.  Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India as per the Indian Citizenship Act, 1995.

2.  Age: 

(i) Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on  01 January 2023 i.e. born between 02 January 1999 — 01 January 2003 (both dates  inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot  License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between  02 January 1997 — 01 January 2003 (both dates inclusive). 

(ii) Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years as on  01 January 2023 i.e. born between 02 January 1997 — 01 January 2003 (both dates  inclusive).  

3.  Marital Status: Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time  of commencement of course. Widows/ Widowers and divorcees (with or without  encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible. A candidate who marries  subsequent to the date of his application though successful at SSB or medical will not  be eligible for training. A candidate who marries during the period of training shall be  discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the  Government. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during the training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live out with family. 

4.  Educational Qualifications. 

(i) Flying Branch. Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of  50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and 

(a) Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a  recognized University in India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.  

OR 

(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University in India with a  minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. 

OR 

(c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate  Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India  from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. 

(ii) Ground Duty (Technical) Branch. 

(a) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}. Candidates with a  minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a  minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification  in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University OR cleared Sections A  and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or  Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with  a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following disciplines:- 

  • (aaa) Applied Electronics & Instrumentation. 

  • (aab) Communication Engineering. 

  • (aac) Computer Engineering/Technology. 

  • (aad) Computer Engineering & Application.  

  • (aae) Computer Science and Engineering/Technology. 

  • (aaf) Electrical and Computer Engineering.  

  • (aag) Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 

  • (aah) Electrical Engineering. 

  • (aaj) Electronics Engineering/ Technology. 

  • (aak) Electronics Science and Engineering. 

  • (aal) Electronics.

Note:- On successful completion of ab-initio and specialist system  training, the Engineering officers shall be awarded M Tech  (Aeronautical Engineering) with specialization in sub-disciplines by  Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgavi Karnataka. 

(b) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)}. Candidates with a  minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level followed by a  minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation  qualification in Engineering/Technology from recognised University or cleared  Sections A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers  (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies with a minimum of 60%  marks or equivalent in the following disciplines:- 

  • (aaa) Aerospace Engineering. 

  • (aab) Aeronautical Engineering. 

  • (aac) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. 

  • (aad) Mechanical Engineering. 

  • (aae) Mechanical Engineering and Automation. 

  • (aaf) Mechanical Engineering (Production). 

  • (aag) Mechanical Engineering (Repair and Maintenance). 

  • (aah) Mechatronics. 

  • (aaj) Industrial Engineering. 

  • (aak) Manufacturing Engineering. 

  • (aal) Production and Industrial Engineering.

(b) Accounts Branch. Passed 10+2 and done graduation in any of the  following streams with 60 % marks or equivalent from a recognized university:- 

(aaa) B. Com Degree (Min three years course). 

(aab) Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialization in Finance)/Bachelor of Management Studies (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Business Studies (with specialization in Finance)  

(aac) Qualified CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA. 

(aad) B.Sc. with specialization in Finance. 

SCHEME OF ONLINE EXAMINATION

All applicants whose applications are submitted by due date will be called for AFCAT at one of the examination centers on any of the dates viz. 12 Feb 22 (Friday), 13 Feb 22 (Saturday) and 14 Feb 22 (Sunday). It is mandatory for the  candidates opting for the Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).

INDIAN AIRFORCE AFCAT SYLLABUS

English:Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct word, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary,  Idioms and Phrases. 

General Awareness.: History, Geography, Civics, Politics, Current  Affairs, Environment, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Sports, etc.

 Numerical Ability:. Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average, Profit &  Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple Interest, Time & Distance  (Trains/Boats & Streams). 

 Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.:Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.

The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation  level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level (Indian  University). 

Depending on the latest trend of the examination there is no fixed criterion regarding the number of questions in each section of the examination.  As per the latest trend the following table shows the proximity of different topics in all four sections of the examination—

  1.  Permanent Commission (PC) for Men. Candidates joining as PC officers would continue to serve till the age of superannuation in their respective branches as per their rank. 

  2.  Short Service Commission (SSC) for Men & Women. 

(i) The engagement period for Flying Branch (Men and Women) SSC Officers is  fourteen years from the date of Commissioning (Non extendable). 

(ii) The initial tenure for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) SSC Officers would be for a period of ten years. An extension of four years may be granted subject  to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and  merit. 

(iii) Grant of Permanent Commission (PC) would be considered subject to service  requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and merit.
