OVERVIEW:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment process for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Delhi Police Department. In this regard, official notice has been issued on the commission’s official website, i.e. Staff Selection Commission on 17th May 2022.
According to the announcement, candidates will be able to apply for Delhi Police Head Constable vacancies beginning May 17, 2022. The online application deadline for these positions is June 16, 2022. The Staff Selection Commission has announced 835 vacancies for both Male and Female candidates for Head Constable (Ministerial) positions in the Delhi Police, with a four-round selection process to follow. Candidates with a 12th pass education qualification are eligible to apply for the Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2022. The Delhi Police Head Constable Exam 2022 is scheduled for September 2022.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2022)
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25 years old, i.e. he/she must have been born between January 2, 1997, and January 1, 2004. Certain candidates will have their ages relaxed in accordance with government rules and regulations.

Educational Qualification:
To apply for the Delhi Police Head Constable test 2022, candidates must have completed 10+2 (Class 12th) from a recognised institution.
Professional Attainments:
Must be able to type 30 words per minute in English on a computer.
Typing speed in Hindi on a computer is 25 words per minute.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
Candidates interested in applying for the Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment must do so online at the official website. The following are the steps and details for applying for the job:
Go to the official website of commission at Staff Selection Commission.
Fill out your personal information and register.
Log in to the online system with your 'Registration Number' and password.
Click the 'Apply' button in the 'Head Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police Examination-2022' section.
Fill out the form, attach the required documents, and pay the fee.
Submit the form and make a copy for your records.
Application fees:
The fee is Rs 100/-. (Rs One hundred only).
Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying the fee.
Note that the Online Fees can be paid via BHIM UPI or Net Banking, with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay credit or debit cards, or in cash at SBI branches by generating an SBI Challan up to 17th June 2022. Candidates who wish to make a cash payment using an SBI challan may do so at any SBI branch during normal business hours until June 20, 2022, provided the challan is generated before June 18, 2022 (2300 hours).

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process for the Delhi Police Head Constable will consist of four stages. Only candidates who complete the entire Delhi Police Head Constable selection process will be considered for the position. The entire selection procedure is outlined below.

ADMIT CARD:
Only candidates whose application forms have been successfully submitted will be issued a Delhi Police Head Constable Admit Card for the written exam tentatively in the month of August 2022. The Delhi Police Head Constable Hall Ticket will be available on the SSC website at https://ssc.nic.in/ and candidates will be able to download it using their registration number and password. Admit cards will only be available for download online.
SALARY
The starting in-hand pay ranges between Rs. 35000 and Rs. 38000. After the 7th pay commission, the salary of the Delhi Police Head Constable will be determined. The basic pay of the Delhi Police Head Constable is Rs. 25500- Rs. 81100, as stated in the notification (Pay Level 4). The HRA is equal to 24% of the salary of Rs. 6120. Dearness Allowance is equal to 12% of gross salary, and Travel Allowance is Rs. 3600.
