The Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam of Combined Graduate Level Exam every year for the recruitment of Grade ‘B and ‘C’ category posts in various Government Ministries, Departments and Offices. Many candidates appear in the SSC CGL Exam every year and as a result it becomes quite a difficult task to do like a hard nut to crack.
If you want to clear the SSC CGL Tier 2, which is to be conducted on the 8th and 10th of August 2022, you should have a well-versed strategy in your mind. Through this article, I am providing you the strategy which will assist you to get a good score in final merit list.
Going through the exam pattern and being familiar with it, is a fundamental step which you should not skip. Let’s have a look at the exam pattern which is tabulated below for a clear understanding of subjects:-

After knowing the exam pattern, you should know the syllabus of well and cover it to ace your score. But, sometimes it’s too difficult to cover the whole syllabus and as we know SSC CGL Syllabus is too vast. For English language & Comprehension:-
Spotting Error, Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Parajumbles, Direct/ Indirect Speech, Active/ Passive Voice and Phrase Replacement.

Active/ passive voice

SUBJECT-WISE PREPARATION TIPS
For Quantitative Abilities:-
For the remaining days, you can use the following things to score good marks:-
1. The first and foremost thing is to revise the formulae & concepts of every chapter and topic. Doing this will help you in quantitative aptitude section.
2. Work on those chapters or topics in which either you cannot recall the concepts and formulae or it takes too much time to solve the questions.
3. Give at least 2 mock tests a week and analyse them. Analysing mocks helps you know your weak areas so that you can work on them.
4. Work on the calculations part. It will boost your speed at solving questions.

For English Language & Comprehension:-
You can follow these tips to get good scores:-
1. Revise every rule & concept of English.
2. Revise vocabulary and try to retain it for a longer time.
3. Create a habit of reading that will help you in the passage, close test and para jumbled sentences.
4. Make a habit of taking at least 2 Mock Tests a week and analyse them. Analysing the tests will help you improve the areas in which you are weak.
