Registration for the IAF AFCAT 02/2022 has begun for 283 SSC and PC posts; apply till June 30

The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 02/2022) application is now being accepted online by the Indian Air Force (IAF). According to the official notification released by the IAF, the registration period will end on June 30 (5.00 PM). The candidates can download the notification and apply for AFCAT on the official website AFCAT.
Online applications are being accepted by the IAF for courses beginning in July 2023 for the grant of a
Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Flying Branch and
a Permanent Commission (PC) and a Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Ground Duty (Technical and NonTechnical) Branches.
All courses at Air Force Academy Dundigal will begin training in the first week of July 2023. (Hyderabad).
AFCAT is held at various locations throughout India twice a year, first in February and second in August. There are 283 vacancies in both the Permanent Commission (PC) and the Short Service Commission (SSC). The online IAF AFCAT 02/2022 examination will be held on August 26, 27, and 28, for which the Admit Cards will be available after August 10, 2022.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit
For Flying Branch: Between the ages of 20 and 24 as of July 1, 2023.
For Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years old as of July 1, 2023.
Marital Status
As per the notification, the candidates under the age of 25 must be unmarried at the start of the course. Widows/widowers, as well as divorcees (with or without encumbrances) under the age of 25, are also ineligible.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed Class 12 with at least 50% marks in physics and math, with physics and math being mandatory subjects. For more information refer to the official notification.
How to Apply for the IAF AFCAT 02/2022:
Visit the official website AFCAT.
Navigate to 'Candidate Login' and select 'AFCAT 02/2022 Cycle.'
Create a profile by clicking on 'New Registration.'
Fill out the application form carefully and upload your documents.
Pay the fee and submit the form.
Print the final application form after downloading it.

The examination fee of Rs 250 for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry & Meteorology) can be paid online after completing the online application form.
