The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar through which more than 3603 candidates are going to be recruited.

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a competitive examination for the recruitment of
Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff: a General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in various States/ 2 Union Territories and
Havaldar: a General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
Eligible candidates can apply to appear in the examination till 30th April 2022. The Paper-1 for the same is to be scheduled in the month of July 2022 and the dates for Paper-2 will be notified later by the Commission.

SSC MTS APPLICATION
How To Apply
1. Candidates first have to visit the official website ofSSC.
2. Go to the Apply section and click on the post for which you are applying.
3. Now login with your required details and if you haven’t registered yourself do the needful by filling in your details.
4. After that fill your application form and upload your scanned documents carefully.
5. In the end, pay your application fee through net banking/UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

The application fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
SSC MTS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India
(b) a subject of Nepal
(c) a subject of Bhutan
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
(b) Age Limit
Candidates' age should be as on 01-01-2022.

(c) Educational Qualification
To be eligible to apply, the candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
It is reiterated that the Board/Institute/University must have declared the result of the required educational qualification by the specified date. The Board/ University/sole Institute's processing of the result By the cut-off date, the EQ requirement has not been met. Candidates with equivalent educational qualifications must also have an Equivalence Certificate from the relevant authorities at the time of document verification. However, the final decision on the selection of such candidates will be made by the relevant User Departments/ Appointing Authorities.
SSC MTS EXAM PATTERN
The examination will be conducted in two stages i.e. Paper-1 & Paper-2. Paper-1 will be conducted in online mode with Objective type questions and the Paper-2 will be conducted in offline mode based on Subjective or Descriptive pattern . Each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 0.25 marks in the online exam of phase I.

Note: Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part II, II, III & IV.
