UKSSSC HEAD CONSTABLE OVERVIEW
Online applications have been invited by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) through direct recruitment for selection on 272 vacant posts of Head Constable (Police Telecom) under Group 'C' in the Department of Police Telecom. Interested candidates can apply online on the website of the Commission up to 10/01/2022 to 23/02/2022.

Click the “Recruitment” section.
Now, select the post which you want to apply for the examination.
Now, register yourself with the required details.
Login with your Id and password which were sent to your email address after the registration.
Enter your details carefully and click to proceed.
Upload your required documents in the required format and size.
Pay your application fee according to your category.
Download your application form after the final submission and take a print out.
Note
OTR (One Time Registration) has been made mandatory by the commission.

UKSSSC HEAD CONSTABLE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.
The Eligibility criteria are set by the board and candidates must meet them for the post. The details are given below:
Age Limit | Educational Qualification |
As of 1st July 2021, both male and female candidates should be of ages between 18-23 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit shall be provided to SC/ST and Other categories candidates as per the Government Rules. | Only those candidates will be eligible for the direct recruitment posts of Head Constable (Police Telecommunications), who have passed their Intermediate examination with Physics, Mathematics and English subjects from recognized institutions located in the state of Uttarakhand or its equivalent. Or Passed Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology related to Radio Technology from an institute recognized by the Uttarakhand Council of Technical Education or its equivalent. |
UKSSSC HEAD CONSTABLE EXAM PATTERN
There will be an online/offline written test of 100 marks of Objective Type with Multiple (Choice) of 02 hours duration, in which questions will be asked from the subjects related to the minimum educational qualification of the post.
Note:
The exam will be an objective type based online/offline exam which will be decided by the commission.
General/OBC Candidates must score at least 45% AND SC/ST Candidates must score at least 35% overall.
Each question will carry 1 mark and there shall be negative marking of 1/4.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Below mentioned are the required physical standards for the post of Head Constable (Police Telecom). Go through the table carefully :

Note:

Candidates who clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be qualified for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates have to cover a certain distance in a specific time period, details of which are mentioned below:

UKSSSC HEAD CONSTABLE SELECTION-PROCESS
Candidates selection process will consist of three stages:
Stage I - Written Exam
The online written examination will be an objective type paper for 100 marks in total.
Stage II - Document Verification & Physical Standards Test
In this stage, candidates will have to provide all the documents they were required to upload at the time of registration. The candidate’s physical measurement will be tested by the board.
Stage III - Physical Efficiency Test
The final stage of the selection process will be the Physical Efficiency Test. In this stage, the candidate’s physical fitness will be tested by the board by making them undergo various tasks.
