UPSC INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES OVERVIEW
Union Public Service Commission is a well known and prestigious commission that annually conducts various examinations for the recruitment of various posts, such as CAPF, IES, IFOS etc. The Commission has released the official notification for the post of Indian Engineering Services for the session 2021-22.

How To Apply
Candidates can apply online for the post of Indian Engineering Services. If you are facing any trouble in filling out this application form then you can follow the below-mentioned steps:
1. Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website of Click Here
2. Homepage will appear on the screen. Now, fill in your required details to register yourself.
3. After registration, your registration details will be sent to your registered email address or contact no.
4. Now, log in with your registered details to fill in the application form.
5. Now, upload your required documents in the needed format and size.
6. At last, pay your Application Fee through net banking.

Application fee for this post is INR 200/-
(Note: SC/ST/ PwBD/Females don’t have to pay any fee).
Admit Card
Candidates can download their Admit Card before 10 to 15 days of the examination through the Official Website of Click Here. In case you are facing any trouble in downloading the Admit card then you can follow the below-mentioned instructions.

Now, click the exam admit card.
Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.
Your admit card appears on the screen.
Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for further process.
(Note: Admit card or Hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your Name, Date of Birth, Photo, Registration details, Name of your centre, Date of the examination and Reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)
UPSC INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Nationality
The Candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Refugees of Tibetan origin can also apply. (In case any aspirant is migrated here to be a permanent citizen of India can also apply).
(b) Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold an Engineering Degree from any recognized University or Institute.
Candidates should be passed sections A and B of the Institution of Engineers
or
Candidates should obtain a Degree/ Diploma in Engineering from any recognized University.
Candidates must be Graduate Membership Examination of the institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers.
(c)Age
Candidates should be between 21 to 30 years of age and Relaxation in age is tabulated below along with their categories:

Stage 1- Preliminary Examination

UPSC INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES SELECTION PROCESS
Examination will be conducted in 3 stages.
Stage 1- Preliminary Examination
This examination will be conducted in Objective Type. It will consist of two papers and carry 500 marks each. (Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of ⅓ marks.
Stage 2- Mains
This examination will be conducted in Conventional Type.
Stage 3- Personality Test
The Personality test will be of 200 marks.
