How long will it take for my account to be activated once the payment is made?

Once the payment is made, your account will be activated right away.

How can I reset my password?

For the users registered with their mobile number, follow the following steps for resetting your password: 1. You need to enter your mobile number on the log-in page. 2. Click "Forget Password", to get an OTP on your registered number. 3. Using the OTP received on your number, you can now reset your password.

How can I change the language of the article and quizzes?

We have a "Change Language" option in Test Series and Daily Quizzes. If you want the content (test and quiz) in Hindi/English language, go to Settings -> Change Language, to change your default language from Hindi to English or Vice-Versa.

I am unable to make payment for the pass.

In case of failure of a transaction before the amount deduction, we advise the student to try making the payment again. In case of transaction failure after amount deduction either access to the purchased product will be provided within few hours or we request the student to wait for 3 to 4 working days. The money will be credited back to his/her account.

I have made the payment but the tests are not unlocked.

Although rare, if so: You can directly mail us at [email protected] and we will resolve your issue.

What are all the payment methods allowed to buy a plan?

You can pay using: Credit Card/ Debit Card or Through: UPI and Netbanking.

What happens if I get disconnected during a test?

Don't worry! We auto-pause your test so, you can resume the test where you left. The test can also be manually paused by clicking on the "Pause" icon on the top left corner inside the timer circle. Please note: This function is not available in a Live Test.

As  Union Public Service Commission is a highly reputed commission and conducts a number of vital recruitment exams, one of which is the Combined Geo-Scientist Exam (CGSE). The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Notification 2022 has been issued for 192 posts under the Geological Survey of India and Central Ground Water Board categories. So we are providing you with details of the same, if you are interested in filling the form then you must go through this notification.

How To Apply

Candidates had applied online for the post of UPSC CGSE Exam from 22nd September 2021 to 12th October 2021.

 If you are facing any trouble in filling out this application form then you can follow the below-mentioned steps: 

1. Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website of Click Here

2. Homepage will appear on the screen. Now, fill your required details in the UPSC CGSE Exam application form to register yourself.

3. After registration, your registration details will be sent to your registered email address or contact no.

4. Now, log in with your registered details to fill in the application form.

5. Now, upload your required documents in the required format and size.

6. At last, pay your Application Fee through net banking/UPI/debit card.

Admit Card or Hall Ticket

Candidates can download their Admit Card before 10 to 15 days of the examination through the Official Website of Click Here. In case you are facing any trouble in downloading the Admit card then you can follow the below-mentioned instructions.

  1. Go to the official website i.e. Click Here

  2. Now, click the exam admit card.

  3. Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.

  4. Your admit card appears on the screen.

  5. Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for further process.

(Note: Admit card or Hall Ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)

COMBINED GEO-SCIENTIST ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(a) Nationality

The Candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Refugees of Tibetan origin can also apply. (In case an aspirant is migrated here to become a permanent citizen of India can also apply).

(b) Age Limit

To be eligible to apply for this post, candidates must be between the age of 21 to 32 years. 

Relaxation in age for the different categories are tabulated below:

Geophysicist Group A

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Science/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Marine Geophysics.

Chemist Group A

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in M.Sc Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry from any recognized University.

Scientist B (Hydrogeology, Chemical, Geophysics)

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Marine Geology from any recognized university.

COMBINED GEO-SCIENTIST EXAM PATTERN

1. Preliminary Examination 

It will be an Online (Computer Based Test) test of 400 marks, consisting of objective-type questions.

Note: Paper 2 will be conducted of a particular subject of your stream that is Geology/Hydrogeology for the post of Geologist & Scientist, Geophysics for the post of Geophysicist & Scientist and Chemistry for the post of Chemist & Scientist.

  • There will be a Negative Marking of one-third of the marks for each wrong answer marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.

  • If no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
